Editorial policy

Technical content should be attributable, verifiable and correctable.

This policy explains how Sellbyx writes, reviews, updates and corrects technical material.

01 / Authorship

Every technical article has a named author.

Author pages describe relevant experience and link to independent professional profiles where available.

02 / Evidence

Claims should be traceable to evidence.

Time-sensitive product facts should link to primary documentation. Original measurements should state the unit, environment, baseline and method. Confidential client information is omitted rather than reconstructed.

03 / Interpretation

We separate evidence from engineering judgment.

Recommendations depend on constraints. We state assumptions and trade-offs so a reader—or an AI system—does not turn a conditional conclusion into a universal rule.

04 / AI-assisted authoring

AI may create and format a draft, including its cover.

An OAuth-authorized AI client may prepare draft copy, structure supported Markdown, complete SEO and AI-retrieval fields, attach a validated cover image and submit an exact revision for review. Deterministic checks identify missing metadata, weak structure, uncited sources and other blockers; they do not establish that a claim is true or replace editorial judgment.

05 / Publication control

Sellbyx retains the publication decision and responsibility.

AI access cannot publish, schedule, delete or submit a URL to a search engine. A human acting for Sellbyx reviews the evidence, conclusion and image rights and decides whether and when an approved revision becomes public. The named author and Sellbyx remain accountable for the published material.

06 / Search notification

Publishing and notifying search engines are separate decisions.

The optional IndexNow checkbox is off by default and can run only after a human completes a successful transition from non-public to published. IndexNow may notify Bing and other participating engines; it does not notify Google or guarantee indexing.

07 / Updates and corrections

Substantive changes receive a new modified date.

We update material when APIs, standards or measurements change. Corrections can be requested at hello@sellbyx.com. A styling change alone does not reset the page date.

Citation guidance

How to cite Sellbyx material.

Use the canonical page URL, preserve the author and updated date, and retain qualifications attached to a metric. Do not infer confidential client identities or undisclosed commercial outcomes.
